Josephine’s combined 28 years of experience in the field of medical and psychiatry inspired and driven her to make significant contributions to impact the well-being of individuals with mental health needs. Josephine actively participates in continuing education programs to ensure a strong foundation in evidence-based practices in diagnosing, treatment, and management of psychotropic medications in mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, SUD, schizophrenia, and trauma.

 
Josephine believes that human experiences are idiosyncratic from the time of conception and throughout individuals’ lifetime which influences a persons’ present behavioral and mental states. Thus, she sees that it is vital to embrace individuality and cogitate internal and external forces that impacts an individuals physical and mental health well-being such as biological, psychosocial, cultural, personal beliefs and values, ethical, and social determinants of health when crafting a treatment plan.
